How (why) to Study the Bible
2 Timothy 3:16 ~ we need to study the bible out of desire. The bible is there for us to live our life from. Hebrews 4:12 ~ the bible is alive, that’s how he speaks to us. It’s not just some old dead book, it’s how we know God.
Ezekiel 26 ~ the judgment of Tyre. They starved the city. Alexander the Great came along a couple hundred of years later (when the city, people, moved to an island) and tried to make peace with them. They rejected. So Alexander took the old city bricks, sand and all and built a moat to the Island (3yrs) and wiped out Tyre. Today where the old city of Tyre once stood people go to dry their nets there.
Prophesy alone proves the bible.
