Ephesians 1:7-8
Things in chapter 1 vs. 7 are not possible without Him they are not a reality without it being in Him. You don’t go from being made alive in Christ to instant glorification. You have to go through this Christian living. We are referred to as the bride of Jesus Christ because we are like the Jewish brides, we were purchased (by His blood) so we may be set apart for Him and He is going to prepare a place and is going to come back for us, just like the Jewish husbands would do. What it means to be a saint and faithful means that we are always in constant relationship with Him. My faith should be continuous; we should always be focused on Him. We need to be the sons & daughters of Christ. He has set boundaries but not restrictions. There are things that a Christian should & should not do. (Will be covered in the in the next few weeks).
We have been given redemption we have the responsibility to be redeemed, to live a life that shows that we that we have been redeemed. We are no longer a slave to God. Now we have a responsibility to repent. None of this is possible without the Holy Spirit.
Recipients of Revelation Vs. 9
We have everything already. We expect him.
Recipients of the seal vs. 13
God’s possession Vs.14
Our responsibility is to be His possession in Him.
